BBF's First Contest-Month of September

Hello BBF Membears,
We have just created our first contest for BBF. The prizes may not be that big, but you will definately have some great fun with this. :]
What do you do:
Create your own Bearville Boardwalk Newspaper! Find out all of our newest news, bearville news, etc.
Newspaper Guidelines:
-There must be at least three sections (such as sports, local, living etc.)
-There must be at least three pictures
-You must be creative!
Prizes
-First prize: 5,000 bear bills + BBF Official Outfit!
-Second Prize: 500 bear bills + BBF Official Outfit!
Due Date:
September 6, 2011

What's New in Bearville
There's a new Bearville Times and it's full of fun stuff planned for October! Just check out the new Snoopy Pumpkin Quest! Beginning September 16, visit Snoopy in the City Garden to help him search for Woodstock. If you find all five items he needs you'll get a kooky spooky prize! Also, there's a new furry friend in town. It's the Fun Fleece Owl which came to Bearville September 16! Don't forget to pick up a new copy of the Paws Fur Nature and read all about our new furry friend, the owl.
Gaming
Along with a new furry friend, there's a new game! Try out the new Furshionita Showdown and see if you can find the true fashion stylist in you! This game is challenging yet exciting because of it's unique clothing system, built to find the pawfect look.
Clothes, Shopping, and Fashion
The top outfit of the week is something sporty but fashionable. This outfit could cost as much as three thousand bearbills! But when you use our advice and become a smart shopper, you'll never have to pay more than a thousand on a cool outfit like this outfit. First tip, never buy something if you're not going to wear it. Just because all your friends have it, doesn't mean it'll be your style. Second, do all your money collecting before you do your shopping. That way you won't run out of money. For the third and final tip, never buy a clothing item that is similar to a different item, but more expensive. So what if it has a little butterfly in the middle? It doesn't matter. Buy the less expensive one instead, you'll be a lot more happy with it.

-Because of only one GREAT entry, we will have a new date, as long as that is alright with JC. I know that Caity is going to for sure, but she didn't have the time. Hopefully some other active members will join also.-

Halloween Costumes! BOO!
Been looking forward to choosing your real life halloween costume? Well now get even MORE excited- because you get to choose one
on BV as well! Lots of fun- BV ALWAYS has the BEST costumes for you- whether you want to be a bumblebee, a ghost, or even a princess,
you'll find the best match! Good luck picking a PURFECT costume!

New BABW Bears and Virtual Pets! :O
Be ready to get a BIG scare- or should I say SURPRISE! Because BV AND BABW are coming up with some beary pawsome NEW ideas!
Including new virtual pets! You can go to BABW and buy a great virtual pet- JUST for BV! So if you don't fancy buying a bear, no worries,
just getting a virtual in-your-backpack-or-out-on-BV bear! Also, new BABW bears are coming out! Including the Orange Hello kitty (picture up
above), new smallfries (picture up above) and more!

October= Internet Safety Month!
As written above, get ready to play a beary great new game at the Coffee Shop, celebrating the beginning of October, which of course
is Internet Safety Month! Remember, always be safe online- never give away your password, phone number, address, city, OR state to anyone
on BV- even if they're a CLOSE friend! You can never be TOO safe when it comes to online predators! Be sure to read the list of Internet Safety
Rules written below as well! ;]

The pawsome Kooky Spooky that we all know and love is reopening, just in time for Halloween! I know I love the pawsome Halloween games,
treats, and fun prizes that we have when we go in- and I know you do too! So be sure to come on BV in time for the reopening- you won't
regret it!
ONLINE SAFETY RULES- here are some online safety rules, to help keep you safe while playing online!
1. Never give away info to strangers! No passwords, addresses, phone numbers, emails, names, or ages! Don't give anything out!
2. Be careful what you say and what you do, because you never know who's behind the computer!
3. If someone begins to say some rude words, report them! Make sure to save everyone the trouble, and right click on the character, then click report,
so the BV staff can take care of it, once and for all!
4. Make sure you've atleast talked once with the people you're adding, because you never know who they are unless they're trusted.
Follow these rules and stick to them, and you'll be safe!

I think the contest is over already. So who won? I think you should pick Rain, she did an amazing job on her newsletter! She covered everything that was new happening in bearville, and added plenty of pictures and descriptions. She definitely deserves the first place prize!

No problem. You deserve the first prize; honestly. Mine was way too short, but yours was an amazing description of bearville. I can't wait to see who wins! Good luck Rain, though you probably won't need it.

First off, I would both like to say that you guys both did an outstanding job. After many, 'back-and-forths' Carly and I chose Rain to be our first place winner, JC in second place. You guys both did a great job! PM myself for information on the prizes.
